Everything was pretty good.... Waitress did a good job for us as well.

Love this place. Food is wonderful and the waitresses are the best. Will always return.

We have been to this El Rosal many times and the food is normally always good. But this time my meat was super over cooked. I had chicken and steak. I let the waitresses know about it and she did nothing but say sorry and moved on to the next table. I didn't wait to make a big stink. And felt bad my family would have to wait to have my food re made. Also waitress didn't come back by to check on us or our drink. Just to give us the bill. We paid full price for everything.

Would certainly recommend visiting this place. Excellent character, flavorful food, good customer service. They never disappoint.

We drove from Sacramento to eat here,we used to eat weekly when we lived in Modesto it's the closest thing to Grandma's food

It's not authentic Mexican food. the beans were clearly from a can. The tortillas we're definitely not microwaved correctly. The waitress had no patience with her snarky comments. I feel this place has more Fame than good food and that's why people have the need to go and give it a good review. As for the prices it's insane Las casuelas has better food for better prices for example camarones a la diabla almost $20 here but at Las casuelas 13. Also I'm sorry El rosal but I'm not paying $5 for a street taco!!!!! SAVE YOU TIME AND MONEY!

Quick service and delicious food as well as a sizable portion for a good pricethe staff are also really friendly and quick to respond

Gate fajitas came out in a big cast iron skillet still sizzling. I will be back.

It was my first time to this particular location. Server was friendly and very good at her job.

Seems to be going downhill. Our waitress took forever to come to our table, and then only came back once in the hour we were there (she didn't even delivery our food - someone else did). Prices are high for what you get, and the food quality is just average for a Mexican restaurant.

Not impressed at all. Noone in my family enjoyed their meal, and it was super over priced. I could look past the taste of the food if I didnt have to pay so much. Definitely will not be returning.

The food is wonderful and the flour chips are awesome. The prices are great!!! It's a very clean restaurant and one I highly recommend.

I love this place the food is phenomenal. Everything is clean and neat the staff is pleasant... the location right across from the theater is great. Mmmmm but yeah it's the food that's awesome. Prices are expected.

The food was fabulous. Flavorful, but not too spicey.

The food at this restaurant wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t go back to eat first of all the customer service wasn’t great at all we had to wait for them to help us out and in order for us to pay the tab we had to hunt them down. Second the salsa and chips the chips were great but the salsa was tomato literally ketchup with some cilantro and green onions not spicy at all. Lastly, the food made my stomach upset.

Best customer service in riverbank their food is great even if you just want to have some drinks and relax this is the place.The owner always makes my husband and I feel like we are at home.👍

Food was cold & salty. Tortillas were cold and stiff completely unacceptable for Mexican food!Not what I expected...😔

Today was a treat. I loved the combination of flavors. They treat food with so much respect. Service great. I have given 5 stars and I have never given 5 stars to another restaurant in the area. I will most certainly be back!

Gross food, canned beans, it's obvious. It took forever to get our food and they weren't even busy. I will never take my family to this place again. I'd rather cook at home then pay for this type of food again. I only gave 1 star because my soda was good

Hit and miss with this place. Some days the food is exceptional, other days it’s just ok. I guess it just depends on who’s cooking that day. Overall pretty decent place.

This place was amazing and the staff were nice. The food was a little spicy but you can order no spicy sauce. But i will 100% be back for seconds.

Pretty good Mexican food, served quickly. The large guacamole plate is HUGE!When we arrived at 2 pm on a July weekday there was no one else in the restaurant and we had great service and shortly after the place got busy (!) but the service remained good.I had five carne asada tacos a la carte and it was a lot of food. Everyone was happy with their food.

Great for a sit down Mexican restaurant. I would suggest the quesadilla supreme.

Located across the road from the Galaxy Theater is El Rosal 9. Here is a place that serves the local tastes for the Riverbank Community. This is a take out review. I recently ordered two Sonora Burritos, one Chicken and the other Carnitas. The Burritos are loaded with rice, beans, cheese, sour cream, salsa and delicious meat of your choice. These Burritos are 10 inches long and weigh in at 1 pound 6 ounces, yes that's what I said. They make a big burrito. So if your hungry and think you can consume this, drop by give it a try, also they make great drinks. Enjoy!As usual this is just my opinion.

My favorite restaurant, always good food and happy servers. The ceviche tostado's were awesome. I highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious grilled chicken tacos. The chicken was very savory and covered in a yummy sauce that tied the tacos together quite nicely. The rice and beans were perfect as well.

The place was empty, now I know why. Food was terrible, overpriced and service was worse.
